In my 20 years of service with Cooper Energy/Rolls-Royce Energy in the component machining plant I held many positions. Hired in 1987 as a Machinist spending 12 years on several manual and CNC turning, mill/drill machines. During this time I completed the 4 year state certified journeyman certification course. In 1999 I was accepted into the Methods Department as a CNC Programmer. In this position I was responsible for creating CNC programs, ordering tooling for the CNC turning and milling centers in the plant. Spending the last 4 years as a Shop Floor Supervisor being responsible for everyday operation, capacity planning, employee assignment, process improvement, and quality. In 2006 the company announced the closing of their machining operation by early 2007 and I decided to start MLTW MACHINE & TOOL INC. to continue doing machine work that I know and enjoy doing.
